Practice questions for the solicitor sections of the Ontario Bar Exam:
Note: Practice questions are based on required competencies as posted by the Law Society here. Questions test knowledge of concepts but are not written to be reflective of actual bar exam questions and are not updated for each bar examination year. Any mistakes or inaccuracies found in questions will be fixed as they are reported or discovered.
- Business Law (20 Questions) – questions on business structures, financing, business transactions, corporate law, employment law and privacy law.
- Estate Planning (15 Questions) – questions will drafting, powers of attorney, trusts, estate administration and estate litigation.
- Real Estate Law (15 Questions) – questions on agreements of purchase and sale, real estate transactions, title searches, and real estate loan transactions.
- Professional Responsibility (15 Questions) – questions on the regulation of the legal profession, the Ontario Law Society’s Rules of Professional Conduct, conflicts of interest, and practice management.
