Note: Practice questions are based on required competencies as posted by the Law Society here. Questions test knowledge of concepts but are not written to be reflective of actual bar exam questions and are not updated for each bar examination year. Any mistakes or inaccuracies found in questions will be fixed as they are reported or discovered.
- Civil Litigation (20 Questions) – questions on the jurisdiction of Ontario courts, the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, and preparation for motions and trials.
- Family Law (20 Questions) – questions on procedure under the Ontario Family Law Rules, spousal and child support, and the division of family property.
- Criminal Law (20 Questions) – questions relating to the classification of criminal offences, judicial interim release, and the conduct of trials.
- Public Law (10 Questions) – questions on constitutional and administrative law including the division of powers, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and judicial review.
- Professional Responsibility (15 Questions) – questions on the regulation of the legal profession, the Ontario Law Society’s Rules of Professional Conduct, conflicts of interest, and practice management.
